History
MVS (Mini Vending Service) is a Southern California-based company that has been in the coin-op industry for about 20 years. Like many companies who have struggled to establish itself in this industry, MVS had its humble start in operating compact, countertop machines, provided by one of the many biz-op companies that existed back then. (Hence, its original, and still current d.b.a. Mini Vending Service). Since those early years of full-time jobs and part-time operating, MVS has grown and developed into a full-service company that has its own network of operators, equipment distributors, and support services. Several of those years also include operating an attended coin-op laundromat in Las Vegas, Nevada, and holding a gaming license for slot machine operations. Today, with the development and cooperation of our network, our sales and services extend into the national and international markets as well. Our motto then, and still remains, “Large enough to serve you, small enough to care!"

While MVS has had many great successes in this industry, that success did not come without a price. This industry as a whole has had some ‘bad’ connotations associated with it. Many all cash businesses seem to attract the negative aspects. At many of our earlier vending workshops, we mentioned how our company had made just about every mistake there was to make in this business, (costing thousands of dollars) but like the old cliché states, “ we learned from those mistakes.” So many of the coin-op related businesses who were caught up with the “make a quick buck now, and forget about their customers tomorrow” scenario are today, out of business. With a little luck, and a whole lot of persistence, we are truly convinced that your business can be successful as well! |

Looking Forward
Today, our goal is to share some of that knowledge and experience with those in our homegrown network so that many of the pitfalls can be avoided, so that it becomes a “win-win-win situation” for all of us involved. From the locators, to the equipment distributors, operators, support services, and finally to the end users, the customers who purchase product out of our machines; we should all be able to benefit. While we have been, and continue to be actively involved in the many facets of this business, our main focus is in providing good, used, and refurbished vending equipment to operators domestically, and now to the world! |
