General Warranty
General Information Almost all of our machines shown on this website are Class A rated machines. Contact us directly for “Special Deals on Class B and Class C rated machines.
All machines rated Class A or Class B carry a “60-day limited parts only warranty.” This includes (but is not limited to) components such as coin changers, validators, refrigeration units (removable type, i.e. soda machines), motors, solenoids, logic boards, control boxes, and digital display boards.
Exclusions Warranty does not include display lamps, fluorescent or incandescent, or fixed placed refrigeration units (i.e. ice cream or frozen food machines). Class C machines are sold, “As-Is Working,” and have no warranty. Any upgrades to Class C machines such as addition of rebuilt validator and changer, will cover the upgrades only under the “60-day limited parts only warranty.” New parts are covered under the manufacturers warranty. Deeply discounted, good used parts are sold, “As-Is Working,” and have no warranty.
Exclusions Pullout changers and validators are sold, “As-Is Working,” and have no warranty. Acts of vandalism, fire, flood, or any other natural disasters are not covered under this general warranty. Power surges causing excess power to be delivered to machine, or any other condition causing disruption of normal electrical power to machine voids this general warranty. “Salting” (process of injecting salted water into the coin chute or bill validator for the purpose of cheating machine) ruins the coin mechanism and or validator, rendering it unusable, voids this general warranty.
Shipping Damage While damage to equipment is very rare during shipment, please note the damage on the Bill of Lading and have the driver sign it. When damage does occur during shipment, it is usually minor. Broken glass or bent legs on snack machines are usually easily repaired so do not refuse the machine for this type of minor damage. Most freight companies will make quick settlements for such minor repairs. Our damage experience has been less than 1% of all items shipped. In the unlikely event that major damage (over $200. repairs) does occur, then refuse shipment and have the Bill of Lading Marked; “Refused due to major damage.” Freight when booked by MVS is always as a courtesy, and MVS never assumes responsibility for actions of the freight company, either due to damage, missing freight, freight storage charges, or any other actions out of our control. All freight charges are considered final and will not be refunded by MVS. Please consider optional freight insurance as needed. Should a major claim become necessary, contact the freight company directly, and please remember to include freight charges in your claim.
Equipment Classification
General Information MVS and their network has adopted a classification system of describing the relative condition of the machines being delivered or drop-shipped from the various facilities to receive, survey, prep, clean, repair, and refurbish the equipment we sell. This gives our network a relatively uniform way of knowing what to expect when ordering and placing equipment on locations. We have separated them in three classifications with the main differences being cosmetic. All equipment rated Class A or Class B include rebuilt changers and validators. Class C equipment comes without changers or validators. In all three classifications, each unit is thoroughly checked out and is fully operable.
Class A These machines display our best work and show what we have become known for - Quality! After our thorough refurbishment process of pressure cleaning, metal preparation, and HVLP paint process, each machine shows our pride of workmanship both inside and out. They come with rebuilt changers and validators, as well as new Lexan fronts on soda machines, and either new vinyl or the new Tufffronts on snack and other machines where kits are available. Basically, these units look, feel, smell, and work like new!
Class B Compare these machines with some you may already have in your inventory. They may have been refurbished within the last 2-3 years, or recently pulled off a location. They do not warrant a complete new refurbishment, but may have some minor dents or scratches cosmetically. We replace the used changers and validators with rebuilt units, and any missing or inoperable parts are replaced as needed. With our thorough testing, and some cleaning by you, these units are ready to go back to work!
Class C These machines are for the seasoned operator or equipment dealer who have their own shops, warehouses, or facilities where they are able to do a lot of the cleaning and cosmetic work themselves. They come without changers or validators and are usually dusty or dirty from sitting in a warehouse or equipment yard. These units are refurbishable and represent the most economical way to acquire equipment for your inventory!
